Preview limits

  • English and other languages. Non-English text is routed to the multilingual model automatically.
  • Roughly 476 state tokens (about 1.4k characters) in English with simple questions, about 2,000 on the multilingual model; less with longer instructions.
  • Up to 32 questions per call.
  • 240 requests a minute per account (up to 40 at once, then four per second) and 4 concurrent requests.
  • 500,000 free billed input tokens per account each month (UTC); a separate compute allowance also applies.
  • Answers come from the open Laya model, not Jev. Recheck thresholds on representative cases.

Check inputs and decision quality

Laya’s context window is much smaller than Jev’s. Oversized inputs return 422; they are not silently truncated.

Use the Jein service root without a version path. The SDK appends /v1/systemone. The host above is the live Jein endpoint.

usage.input_tokens reports the input total. Question names, template words, and special tokens are not counted. usage.output_tokens is always zero.
